There's no use in wasting our time wondering why things worked out this way, but I can't help but be a little bit disappointed.
I suppose all there is to do now is try to enjoy the next two weeks...

- This is my blog to chronicle a strange, frightening, and (hopefully) interesting time in my life. In September of 2008, I will be moving from Winnipeg, Canada to Dublin, Ireland to attend Saint Nicholas Montessori College Ireland to get my B.A. in Montessori Education. I love children and am very excited to be getting this degree and follow my dream to be a part of a Montessori classroom. However, anyone who knows me can tell you that I'm not particularly thrilled about having to move so far away to get it. Things that make me happy: my friends and family, my puppydog, babies, children, animals, food, wine, dancing, music, socializing, shopping, fashion, hot sunshiney summer days, the ocean, and everything about the 1950s

I'll give you the abbreviated version of the story:
Girl meets boy.
Girl and boy really like each other. A whole lot.
Girl is leaving the country forever in two weeks.
Bad, bad timing.
girl should consider staying in Ireland and finishing her degree.
if it doesn't work out with boy at least she will end up with a degree.
Girl at least has the education part of her life sorted and starts school again in September, but in Winnipeg. It's the boy portion of her life that seems to be lacking and/or frustrating these days.
